Back to School (BTS) and Ihya’ Ramadan Contribution Presentation Ceremony by Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK)

His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Sultan Sallehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah, and His Royal Highness Tunku Shazuddin Ariff Ibni Sultan Sallehuddin, the Tunku Mahkota of Kedah, graciously attended the Back to School (BTS) and Ihya’ Ramadan Contribution Presentation Ceremony organised by Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), held at Dewan Cenderawasih, Pendang.

A total of 300 students from low-income families in the districts of Pendang and Pokok Sena received assistance comprising cash contributions and school supplies, presented by His Royal Highness the Tunku Mahkota of Kedah, as well as food baskets and cash assistance, presented by His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Kedah.

Also in attendance were Dato’ Seri Norizan Khazali, State Secretary of Kedah and Trustee of TASK; Dato’ Seri Setia Diraja Dato’ Paduka Bakar Din, Trustee of TASK; Tuan Haji Azhan Abdul Hamid, General Manager of TASK; Nasrun Dato’ Mohd. Sheriff, District Officer of Pendang; Mohamad Rizal Mohamad Radzi, District Officer of Pokok Sena; and Encik Jamani Jamaludin, Chairman of the Peninsular Malaysia Village Heads and Community Leaders Association (Kedah Branch).

In his address, Dato’ Seri Setia Diraja Dato’ Paduka Bakar Din, Trustee of TASK, highlighted that TASK had actively planned and implemented a wide range of programmes and initiatives to advance social welfare, education, healthcare, and sports throughout Kedah. These efforts are aimed at contributing to human capital development and enhancing the well-being of the people, particularly those from low-income communities.
