Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) Post-Flood Community Clean-Up Programme in Mukim Derang, Pokok Sena

Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) organised a Post-Flood Community Clean-Up Programme in Mukim Derang, Pokok Sena. Among those in attendance were Tuan Mohamad Rizal bin Mohamad Radzi, District Officer of Pokok Sena; Tuan Haji Azhan bin Abd Hamid, General Manager of TASK; Encik Jamani bin Jamaludin, President of the Kedah Village Heads Association; village heads from across the State of Kedah; the Penghulu of Mukim Derang; TASK staff; officers from the Pokok Sena District Office; representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and relevant agencies; together with volunteers.

 

The programme commenced with welcoming remarks by Tuan Haji Azhan bin Abd Hamid, General Manager of TASK, followed by the opening address and official launch by Tuan Mohamad Rizal bin Mohamad Radzi, District Officer of Pokok Sena.

 

Programme activities included comprehensive cleaning works at the Mukim Derang Penghulu Office, Maahad Tarbiyah Islamiah, Derang, and residential areas affected by the floods.

TASK extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all participants and organisations for their strong commitment and support in ensuring the success of the programme. It is hoped that this collective effort will bring lasting benefits to the affected communities and to everyone involved.
