Community Outreach Programme: 20 Low-Income Families in Bandar Baharu Receive Food Baskets and Essential Supplies from Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK)

As part of the Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) Community Outreach Programme, 20 low-income families in the Bandar Baharu District received food baskets and essential household supplies from Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK).

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting underprivileged communities, TASK, in collaboration with the Bandar Baharu District and Land Office, distributed food baskets and essential supplies to 20 families in the district to help ease the burden of those facing financial and social challenges.

The contributions were presented by Tuan Haji Azhan bin Abd Hamid, General Manager of TASK, with the support of Tuan Mohd Noor bin Ismail, District Officer of Bandar Baharu; Encik Mohamad Izwan bin Dato’ Paduka Haji Mohd Omar, Assistant District Officer (Development); Encik Jamani bin Jamaludin, President of the Kedah Village Heads Association; the Penghulu of Bandar Baharu; officers from the Bandar Baharu District Office; TASK staff; and volunteers.

Each food basket contained essential household items, including staple groceries such as rice, cooking oil, and sugar, as well as fresh food items including chicken and vegetables. Toys were also provided for children to ensure they could share in the joy and encouragement brought by the programme.

This initiative reflects TASK's continued commitment to empowering and supporting communities in need across the Bandar Baharu District and throughout the State of Kedah. Through programmes such as this, TASK aims to provide meaningful assistance, inspire hope, and strengthen the spirit of compassion and solidarity within the community. It is also hoped that these ongoing efforts will encourage more individuals and organisations to join in supporting those in need.
