Programme in Collaboration with the Kedah State Education Department Supporting 100 Outstanding Students through the Kedah International STEM & English in Camp - Series 1
Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), in collaboration with the Kedah State Education Department, supported 100 outstanding B40 students from across the State of Kedah through the first series of the Kedah International STEM & English in Camp.
The programme was designed to provide high-achieving B40 students with the opportunity to interact with international students from four neighbouring countries—Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Conducted over three days and two nights, the programme featured a range of STEM-based activities delivered entirely in English at Kilim Geopark, Taman Lagenda, Oriental Village, and around Kuah Town, Langkawi.
By placing international participants and Kedah students in the same activity groups, the programme created valuable opportunities for meaningful interaction and enabled students to gain first-hand experience in communicating confidently in an international environment.
The programme is expected to help outstanding B40 students improve their PAJSK co-curricular assessment scores while providing international exposure that many would otherwise be unable to access due to financial constraints.
