
3 August 2025 | Kulim – His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah, graciously attended the “Menjulang Aspirasi, Menjunjung Impian” Awards Ceremony organised by the Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP) Skills Centre, held at the Grand Ballroom, Kulim Golf Club.
The ceremony celebrated the achievements of 200 trainee alumni who successfully completed their skills training under the KHTP Skills Centre Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programme for the 2024/2025 session. Of these, 15 trainees were recipients of full sponsorship from Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), reflecting the positive impact of the sponsorship programme in developing highly skilled human capital within the State.
During the ceremony, His Royal Highness graciously delivered a royal address, officially inaugurated the event, and presented certificates to the graduates.
Also in attendance were the Right Honourable Dato’ Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, Menteri Besar of Kedah; the Honourable Dato’ Wira Syed Khairol Anuar Syed Abidin, State Financial Officer of Kedah; the Honourable Dato’ Mohd Sahil Zabidi, Chairman of Kulim Advanced Technologies Sdn. Bhd.; and Tuan Haji Azhan bin Abd Hamid, Chairman of Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), together with other distinguished guests.
The ceremony not only recognised the dedication and achievements of the trainees but also reflected the continued commitment of KHTP Skills Centre to producing a highly skilled workforce that meets the evolving needs of industry, particularly within the State of Kedah. The strong support of government agencies and sponsors such as TASK underscores the vital role of education and skills training in developing a competitive and future-ready generation.
