Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) Chinese New Year 2025 Cash Assistance and Food Basket Presentation Ceremony

22 January 2025, Sungai Petani – Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), in collaboration with the Penghulu of Mukim Sungai Petani and the Sungai Petani Volunteer Fire Brigade, organised the Chinese New Year 2025 Cash Assistance and Food Basket Presentation Ceremony.

The ceremony was officiated by the Honourable Dato’ Haji Abdul Gafar bin Ya’ya, District Officer of Kuala Muda, and witnessed by Tuan Haji Azhan bin Abd Hamid, General Manager of TASK; Encik Jamani bin Jamaludin, Penghulu of Mukim Sungai Petani and President of the Kedah Village Heads Association; and Encik Leong Beng Tat, President of the Sungai Petani Volunteer Fire Brigade.

A total of 100 recipients, comprising underprivileged individuals and persons with disabilities (PWDs), each received RM100 in cash together with a food basket valued at RM50 as part of the Chinese New Year 2025 celebration.

Through initiatives such as this, TASK remains committed to supporting communities in need regardless of race, religion, or background, while fostering the spirit of unity, inclusiveness, and social harmony throughout the State of Kedah.
