30 April 2025, Sik, Kedah – A total of 20 low-income families received food baskets and essential household supplies from Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK).

As part of the TASK Community Outreach Programme, TASK, in collaboration with the Sik District and Land Office, the Penghulu of Mukim Sik, Mukim Sok, and Mukim Teloi, distributed food baskets and essential supplies to 20 families across the Sik District.

The contributions were presented by the General Manager of TASK, Tuan Haji Azhan bin Abd Hamid, with the aim of easing the burden of families affected by various socio-economic challenges.

Each food basket contained essential household items, including staple groceries such as rice, cooking oil, and sugar, as well as fresh food items including chicken and vegetables.

The assistance also included toys for children, ensuring that they too could share in the joy and encouragement brought by the programme.

This initiative reflects TASK's ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering communities in need throughout the Sik District and across the State of Kedah. Through programmes such as this, TASK hopes to provide practical assistance, inspire hope, and foster a stronger spirit of compassion and solidarity within the community.
