The Honourable Dato’ Wira Vijayasundram Jeyabalan is an accomplished professional who holds a qualification in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom, as well as a Master of Arts degree awarded by Dublin Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, in 1983. He brings more than 30 years of experience in management and marketing across a wide range of industries, including retail and project management.

He began his career in 1979 as a Branch Manager with Crystal Palace Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. In 1982, he was appointed Operations Manager for Crystal Palace Pte. Ltd. and Seng Hup Electric Co. Sdn. Bhd. In recognition of his outstanding leadership, he was promoted to Group General Manager for both companies in 1984.

In 1986, Dato’ Wira Vijayasundram Jeyabalan was appointed Group Deputy Managing Director of Seng Hup Electric Co. Sdn. Bhd., which operated across Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei.

He subsequently established his own company, Light Style Sdn. Bhd., where he served as Managing Director. In September 2009, he founded LSP Sdn. Bhd. and was appointed its Chief Executive Officer. LSP Sdn. Bhd. specialises in lighting projects and interior contracting, with a particular focus on the hospitality sector, royal institutions, and government buildings. The company has successfully delivered major projects in Malaysia, Thailand, and India.

The Honourable Dato’ Wira is also one of the shareholders of Yiked Bina Sdn. Bhd., a telecommunications company based in Alor Setar, a position he has held since 31 December 2017.
