His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Kedah and Her Royal Highness the Raja Puan Muda of Kedah Visit the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) at Sekolah Simpang 3, Padang Hang

30 November 2024 – His Royal Highness Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah Ibni Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin, the Raja Muda of Kedah, and Her Royal Highness Che Puan Muda Zaheeda Mohamad Ariff, the Raja Puan Muda of Kedah, graciously visited the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) at Sekolah Simpang 3, Padang Hang.

 

Upon arrival, Their Royal Highnesses were received by the Honourable Dato’ Seri Haji Norizan Khazali, State Secretary of Kedah; the Honourable Dato’ Wira Syed Khairol Anuar bin Syed Abidin, State Financial Officer of Kedah; the Honourable Dato’ Dr. Nadzman bin Mustaffa, Deputy State Secretary (Management); Dr. Ismuni bin Bohari, Director of the Kedah State Health Department; Dato’ Haji Hakim Arif bin Md Noor, District Officer of Kota Setar; together with other distinguished guests.

 

Their Royal Highnesses were briefed by Tuan Haji Kamarudin Dahuli, General Manager of the Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA), and Ir. Ahmad Solihin Budarto, Director of the Kedah State Department of Irrigation and Drainage, before meeting with residents affected by the floods.

 

During the visit, Their Royal Highnesses graciously presented cash assistance through Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) to 58 heads of households and spent time with flood victims who were still taking shelter at the Temporary Relief Centre before departing.
