His Royal Highness the Sultan of Kedah Graciously Visits the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) at Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium (SSAH)

His Royal Highness Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Badlishah, the Sultan of Kedah, graciously visited 588 flood victims from 175 families who had been accommodated at the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) at Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium (SSAH) since the previous Thursday, following the heavy rainfall that affected the State beginning on 16 September 2024.

 

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was received by the Right Honourable Dato’ Seri Muhammad Sanusi bin Md Nor, Menteri Besar of Kedah; the Honourable Dato’ Seri Haji Norizan bin Khazali, State Secretary of Kedah; the Honourable Dato’ Wira Syed Khairol Anuar bin Syed Abidin, State Financial Officer of Kedah; together with other heads of government departments.

 

During the visit, His Royal Highness presented cash assistance through Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) to the flood victims as an expression of His Royal Highness's concern for those affected by the disaster.

 

His Royal Highness also reminded the flood victims to continue taking good care of their health and personal safety while facing this difficult situation.
