Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) Compassionate Financial Assistance (BWI) Presentation Ceremony for 15 Families Affected by a Storm in the Langkawi District

he Compassionate Financial Assistance (Bantuan Wang Ihsan – BWI) presentation ceremony for families affected by a storm in the Langkawi District was held at the Operations Room of the Langkawi District and Land Office. Financial assistance of RM500 per recipient, contributed by Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), was presented to the affected families.

 

The presentation was officiated by Encik Mohamad Subhi bin Abdullah, District Officer of Langkawi, in the presence of Encik Mohd Syuhada bin Abd Razak, Assistant District Officer, together with district Penghulu and representatives from disaster management agencies in Langkawi.

 

A total of 15 households whose homes sustained major damage received the assistance as part of efforts to ease the burden faced by those affected by the storm. This initiative reflects TASK's ongoing commitment and close collaboration with local authorities in supporting communities during times of need. It is hoped that the assistance will provide immediate relief while offering both practical and moral support to help affected families begin their recovery.
