Post-Flood Relief Mission: Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) in Collaboration with the Kedah State Youth Council (MBN Kedah)

5 December 2024, Kepala Batas – A Post-Flood Relief Mission, organised by the Kedah State Youth Council (MBN Kedah) in collaboration with Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), was successfully carried out at Kampung Pasir, Mukim Naga, Kepala Batas. The programme brought together nearly 200 volunteers from various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and youth associations.

The mission focused on several key clean-up locations, including Surau Kampung Padang Pasir, Surau Kampung Gelam, Tadika KEMAS Kampung Padang Pasir, and the homes of residents affected by the floods.

Among the key activities carried out were electrical wiring inspections conducted by trainees from the National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) Electrical Division. In addition, volunteers organised community cooking activities to prepare meals for distribution to flood-affected residents and fellow volunteers.

The programme was also attended by the Penghulu of Mukim Naga, the President of the Kedah State Youth Council (MBN Kedah), officers from the Kubang Pasu District Youth and Sports Office, and local residents, all of whom demonstrated strong support for this community relief initiative.
