13–15 January 2025, Langkawi – Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), in collaboration with the Kedah State Education Department, supported 100 outstanding B40 students from across Kedah through Series 3, the final instalment of the Kedah International STEM & English in Camp, following the successful completion of Series 1 and Series 2. The programme provided participants with an international-standard learning experience, offering opportunities to strengthen their STEM knowledge and English language proficiency through seven engaging activities, including the STEM Treasure Hunt, supported by Panorama Langkawi.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Honourable Dato’ Seri Setia Diraja Dato’ Paduka Haji Bakar Din, Dato’ Pengelola Bijaya DiRaja and Member of the Board of Trustees of Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK). In his address, he expressed his hope that the participating students would continue to excel and become an inspiration to the younger generation of Kedah.
The programme was fully funded by Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), enabling more than 300 high-achieving B40 students from across the State of Kedah, under the Sayangi Anak Kedah (SAYAK) initiative, to participate without financial constraints and pursue their aspirations.
The SAYAK Dashboard was also introduced to monitor participants' progress and support the development of strategic intervention plans to enhance their future success. It is hoped that this programme will inspire the younger generation to pursue excellence and compete successfully on the global stage.
