Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), in Collaboration with the Kedah State Education Department, Supports 300 Outstanding Students through the Kedah International STEM & English in Camp Series 1–3

17–19 December 2024, Langkawi – Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), in collaboration with the Kedah State Education Department, supported 100 outstanding B40 students from across Kedah through the second series of the Kedah International STEM & English in Camp.

The programme was fully funded by Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) as a dedicated initiative to support high-achieving students from B40 families in Kedah. In addition to helping participants enhance their co-curricular achievement under the PAJSK assessment, the programme also provided opportunities for them to interact with students from other countries and gain valuable international exposure.

The three-day, two-night programme brought together a total of 111 students from Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Participants took part in eight key activities centred on STEM learning at Oriental Village, Taman Lagenda, and Eagle Square. With the completion of this second series, a total of 200 out of the 300 students selected under Phase 2 of the Sayangi Anak Kedah (SAYAK) initiative had successfully participated in the programme.

The third and final series of the programme was scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 January 2025.
