TASK Contributes RM20,000 to Support 200 Students from Low-Income Families in Conjunction with Chinese New Year 2024

The Honourable Dato’ Seri Setia Diraja Dato’ Paduka Haji Bakar bin Din, Member of the Board of Trustees of Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), presided over a meaningful gathering at the Office of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Kedah, Wisma Darul Aman, where TASK presented a mock cheque valued at RM20,000 to the Lions Club of Alor Setar Central in conjunction with the Chinese New Year 2024 celebration.

The ceremony was also attended by the Honourable Datuk Wira Chua Teik Hin and other distinguished guests, highlighting the importance of community support during the festive season. The contribution was intended to assist 200 underprivileged students from Chinese National-Type Schools (Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina).

TASK remains committed to promoting the well-being of the community by supporting meaningful initiatives that deliver a positive impact on the people of Kedah, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds and families in need.
