Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK) is pleased to sponsor the Sayangi Anak Kedah (SAYAK) Breakfast Programme, an initiative aimed at supporting students from B40 families throughout the State of Kedah. The programme forms part of TASK’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that children from underprivileged backgrounds begin each school day with the nourishment and energy needed to learn effectively.
The programme was implemented from September 2024 to January 2025, benefiting 523 B40 students from 84 schools across the State of Kedah. Of these, 228 students had previously been selected through the first phase of the SAYAK programme, namely Kem Karamah Series 1 to Series 6.
The breakfast programme is designed to ensure that every participating student receives a nutritious morning meal, enabling them to start the day with sufficient energy and better focus in the classroom. The initiative places particular emphasis on secondary school students from low-income households, with the objective of promoting healthier eating habits and improving their overall well-being.
Through the sponsorship of Tabung Amanah Sultan Kedah (TASK), the programme not only supports the physical well-being of participating students but also encourages the adoption of healthier nutritional practices. TASK remains committed to empowering the younger generation of Kedah by providing them with the opportunities and support they need to achieve their full potential.
Together, let us continue to support this initiative and help build a brighter future for the children of Kedah.
